Grocery Shopping

There is a small store up Tamiami on the left called Wynns. It's a nice small store, but expensive. Drive the extra mile up and go to PUBLIX (on the left as well).

Dining Out

5th Ave & 3rd Street have great restaurants. If you are more in the mood for simple fish and chips fare, go to Tin City. There are several restaurants that serve good food right on the dock - watch the power boats cruise by. Tommy Bahama's on 3rd is fun at night - they play live island music & the crab cakes are great!

Don't know what to do?

The Tourist office on 5th should be your first stop. The volunteers inside are locals who will stuff your arms full of great brochures.

The Best Beach Spot Ever

Like to shell & get away from the big crowds? Drive right up the street on 8th Street to the City Hall. Buy a parking pass ( $10/week) for the beaches. Put your pass in your rental car window, and don't worry about quarters in the meters, or parking tickets for the rest of your trip! Drive south on Gulfshore Road and turn RIGHT on 33rd street and park. Heaven! Not very crowded, and the walk south to the outlet is the best SHELLING beach in Olde Naples. Go early, get the best ones! Be careful of walking in the shallow water at dusk, we saw many small sting rays hovering close to the shore edge, but only at dusk. They will scoot away from you quickly, but you don't want to step on one by accident. Please do not leave shells in the condo that may have an animal in it. It will smell really foul in less than 24 hours. Dry your shells outside the front door on the rocks. Happy Hunting!
